On a hill located on the east of the village towers imposing since 1961, the statue of the Cypriot Mother, in memory of all the Cypriot Mothers, whose children were sacrificed during the liberation fight of EOKA 1955-59. On the south side of the village, on the main road towards Agros, near the Regional Primary School, is the monument of the fallen and missing persons of the coup and the Turkish invasion of 1974. They are Antonis Chr. Pavlides, Andreas Κ. Kouroufexis, Andreas Savvopoulos, Nikos Poumbouris, Andreas Eleftheriadis and Georgios Pavlou.

In the church yard of Apostle Luke church is the old primary school, adjoined to the old medieval olive mill. It is a single roomed, rectangular building, which operated until 1930. The school as well as the traditional medieval olive mill, located on a lower level were restored from the Archaeology Department with the donation of the Anastasios G. Leventis Foundation.
