Located in a beautiful pine-clad location, in the region of Appis. A service is held twice a year; on the day of celebration of Archangel Michael and of Easter Tuesday. The visitor can reach the chapel by car from the region of Saint Koroni or on foot through the nature trail of Appi.

Located east of Palaichori, amongst the greenery created by the Marounella river, A wooden roofed small dimensioned, temple, with two isles and a gabled roof covered in flat clay tiles. On the inside wall murals are salvaged which date back to the 26th century. There are scenes from the Christ’s Resurrection, as well as figures of the Saints.

The external appearance of the church is characterised by an intense traditionalcolour, since the whole church is covered in stone. At the same time, the church is covered by a gabled wooden roof, with tiles, known as French type. Inside the temple consists of three isles. The east part of the temple leads to a hemisphere internal arch covered in a quarter dome. The rescued church consists a built of the 16th century, perhaps even older, which underwent a series of renovations and modifications, since the end of the 19th century and the end of the 20th century.

A small temple in the Morphou province, near the Health Centre of Palaichori. And west of the old Primary School. A service is always held on the day of celebration of the Saint, by a priest sent from the Autocephalous Church of the Old Calendarist of Cyprus, It was built around 1950.

This is a small chapel which dates back to the 16th/ 17th century, inferred by an iconostas, as well as the icons it holds. The chapel is built amongst the traditional village houses, near a terebinth tree, which’s age is nearing the eight centuries.

In the embrace of one of the most pictorial neighbourhoods of the village, rises with intense characteristics of the post-gothic art, is the church of Apostle Luke. The salvaged temple of Apostle Luke, was built in the third decade of the 20th century, in the place of a previously existing wooden roofed temple. Architecturally the temple belongs to the category of the three isles basilica, with a dome.

The church of Metamorfoseos tou Sotiros since 2000 is part of the nine other byzantine churches found in Troodos decorated with wall frescoes, in the list of World Heritage Monuments of UNESCO. The church was built at the start of the 16th century and belongs to the architectural type of a single isled wooden roofed temple. The narthex, which appears to have existed since at least the beginning of the 17th century, extends west and south of the temple in the form of an alley, and is covered by the same gabled roof. The inside of the temple is ornamented. Decorated by wall frescoes dating to the beginning of the 16th century, in time with the building of the temple. The wall murals are part of one of the most completed pictorial sets of the post-byzantine art of Cyprus.

There are five churches and two chapels in the Palechorio vicinity. Palaichori saw the construction of notable structures. They are in the first place his temples. Chronologically, the most significant church was that of the Apostle Luke, which was demolished in 1924 to make way for a larger structure.
